An Evening in another city

Abandoned by the Day,

Disowned by the Night,

The Evening motivated me,

To write.

I opened the window,

As my thoughts ran wild.

I decided to take a few minutes,

While I gazed at the garden site.

A gentle breeze of air,

Told me not to worry about what’s ahead.

For it’s absolutely fair,

To relish this moment instead.

If only I could live in moments

Rather than plans.

Trying hard to compete with the robots,

But am I not just a Human?

Confused, I wonder

What went wrong

Perhaps I began looking elsewhere

For what I had all along.
